Happy International Women's Day!
Do something special for your inner and outer feminine today! Take some time this month- Women's History Month- to honor the women in your life, including yourself :)
In the last hundred plus years, we have accomplished so much and have lots to be thankful for. But the fight is hardly over and equality is still far off in the distance.
Everyday, we fight the war on resistance, whether its in our own heart or in a situation where the feminine is outwardly disrespected. It happens sometimes when we don't even realize it. As we make our daily choices, as we interact with people, as we walk down the street.
The resistance we encounter from others and the resistance we find in our own mind is not much different, it just appears as such because we have someone inflicting it or not.
Resistance is slow death. It keeps you up at night and then it makes you sleep through that thing you were supposed to do. Resistance doesn't give a shit about you, it wants to see you fail. Resistance is, I'll do it tomorrow... except tomorrow never comes.
Are you walking around inflicting resistance upon yourself? Or do you allow others to do it for you?
We resist love, we resist hate. We resist abundance and fun. We resist because we persist that whatever has to be done must not be fun. Resistance never sleeps and never dies, it just lives on, renewed each day by our distaste for it's existence.
Where in your life are you resisting right now? How do you resist your purpose, your femininity, your fun?
What would happen if you let go, and gave up the resistance?
Where would you be and who would you be if you let it go?
I want to hear from you, leave a comment below!
